100 Calorie Budget

If you are hungry and want something nutritious to eat here are some great comparisons for a 100 calorie budget.

Looking for a post-training snack – choose the nuts
OR a satisfying lunch option paired with a healthy low calorie dip – choose the peppers.

Looking for healthy addition to a lunch or supper – choose the sugarsnap peas
OR a treat of choice – have half a packet of crisps!

To balance the nutrition and calories of your bolognese:
Meat based – choose the broccoli
Vegetarian – choose the pasta

These plates are all 100 calories. Most of them (apart from crisps), are great forms of good nutrition but we need to be calorie savvy as our bodies only tell us when we are hungry or full and not when we go over our energy budget and we store it as fat.
